GET TO BY Campaign for Covid-19

Creating an advertising campaign for something as impactful and unknown as COVID-19 was a significant challenge. At the time, the pandemic was just beginning, with little research or understanding of the virus. All we knew was that it could spread quickly.

This campaign aimed to highlight the importance of the virus and how our actions during this time could impact others. It was a message of solidarity: we are all in this together.

I worked on this campaign as the researcher, strategist, and writer.

As the researcher, I looked into the limited information that was provided about coronavirus. Investigating and reading into the different sources providing information, and then determining which ones were credible and valuable for our campaign.

I also had to strategically determine how to connect to an audience through my writing effectively. Connecting to people worldwide through a screen, rather than face to face. 

Working on this campaign really showed me how important community is and how strong and impactful advertising can be. It can give us reassurance, hope, happiness, etc., especially in times of fear and uncertainty for the future, as we have experienced.
